Firefox popup/pop-under appearing

Advertisers have found a way to cheat Firefox' popup blocker to sneak in some popup's or pop-under's.

One way is to block the advertising sites with the "hosts" file. You can find this file in:
Linux: /etc/hosts
Windows XP: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Windows 2000: C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Win 98\ME: C:\WINDOWS

Just add:
127.0.0.1 advertisingsite.com
127.0.0.1 is the loopback (localhost) and therefore the request from the browser for the ad/javascript etc. will fail. No error message appears - just the ad doesn't load.

If you find a site with popup's appearing, just view the source code of the page and try to find out the advertisers host machine.
