Got error 127 from table handler - MySQL database error
I encountered this error for no obvious reason. Funny enough, the error occured very
seldom on a SELECT statement. One would think that a corrupted table would produce
an error each time a SELECT is performed, even having the same SELECT, but it seems
that reading from the database can fail only about 5-10% of all SELECT's.
Anyway, repairing the table seems to solve the problem:
REPAIR TABLE [tablename]
The storage engine used is MyISAM; MySQL version 4.0.18.
