Firefox 3: Flash player not working / displaying movie on Linux
You just installed Firefox 3 and the latest Flash movie player plugin and nothing is displayed ?
Here is the solution for Linux (at least that worked for me):
Say you have your firefox installation in
/usr/firefox/
and you've put the new Flash player plugin shared object
libflashplayer.so
into
/usr/firefox/plugins/
check if there is an older version in
~./mozilla/plugins/
If there is one, delete/rename it and it WORKS :-)
